How to use
- Charge it first. Give it a full charge before the first trim.
- Pick a calm moment. After a walk works well. Sit on the floor or the sofa with your dog.
- Light on, go slow. Switch on the light so you can see exactly where the skin and pads are.
- Paws. Gently spread the toes and trim the fur that sticks out past the pads, level with them. No need to dig deep between the pads.
- Face and sanitary area. Same idea: blade flat, short passes, a little at a time. Keep clear of the eyes.
- A little at a time. One area is a fine first session. Treats help.
- Brush it clean. Switch it off and brush the fur out of the blade when you're done.

FAQ
Will it hurt my dog?
The blade is small and guarded, and the light at the blade lets you see the skin and pads while you work. Go slowly, keep the blade flat on the fur, and stop if your dog pulls away.
Is it a full body clipper?
No. It's made for the small spots: paws, between the pads, the face and the sanitary area, plus quick tidy-ups. Keep your groomer, or your big clipper, for the coat.
How often should I use it?
Whenever paws, face or the sanitary area start to look shaggy again. For a lot of dogs that's every couple of weeks between groomer visits. A touch-up takes about five minutes.
Does it work on cats?
Yes. On long-haired cats it works for the paws and small sanitary trims. Same approach: short sessions, a little at a time.
What if my dog is nervous?
Start with it switched off: let them sniff it, touch it to a paw, give a treat. Then a few seconds with it on. One spot a day is fine. Because it's small, you can do it on the sofa or with your dog on your lap.
How do I clean it?
Switch it off, brush the fur out of the blade with a small dry brush, and wipe the outside with a dry cloth. Don't rinse it under the tap.
